Mumbai, Feb 19: Ivy Saldanha has been recognised as one of the 40 most talented HR leaders in India. She was awarded this honour at a glittering ceremony of the HRD World Congress in Mumbai on February 15 by ET.

Saldanha has over twenty years of experience in people management and strategic human resource consulting. She has been associated with senior leadership in creating an enlightened culture built on core values while executing various people programs in alignment with business needs, thus resulting in happier and more effective employees, satisfied customers and better company performance.

Her core competencies include managing people, culture building, business partnering, managing change, integration, organization effectiveness and effective management of various HR practices and systems.

She has conducted diverse seminars and workshops in several corporate, academic and management training sessions. 

Saldanha is the current director of human resources and administration at Actuant India. Her accomplishments in the HR arena included stints with ArvinMeritor, Tech Mahindra, ITC Ltd and International Leisure Consultants.

Saldanha is also associated with NHRD, CII, World HRD Congress, IMA, and various professional bodies, including Kanara Entrepreneurs, Bangalore.  An active member of the local community, Ivy finds time from her corporate and family life to help train and counsel young children.
