Mumbai, Feb 28: `Jivitachi Zor', the Konkani Prayer group in Mumbai celebrated its silver jubilee on Tuesday January 26 at Cardinal Gracias School hall, Bandra (E).
At 10 am after offering mass at the church, a variety entertainment programme was organised. A power point presenation showed the various activities of the group for the past 25 years.
Sponsors were felicitated with bouquettes and draped with shawl.
More than 500 people participated in the celebrations.
The prayer group was started in eight parishes of Mumbai diocese under the leadership of Helen D'Silva. Four of the groups have been registered witht the Charismatic Association of Mumbai.
