Mumbai: Dr Mogasale releases two Kannada books

Mumbai, Mar 12: At the joint auspicious of metro based Karnataka Sangh, Bangalore based Srinivas Publication and Koustubha Publication, book releasing function of Kannada   book - Mumbai Underworld, by litterateur and journalist Srinivas Jokatte and Kannada Kularasikaru – book by Dr B D Joshi was held here on Friday March 9.

Kantavara Kannada Sangh president and renowned litterateur Dr Na Mogasale released the books here on Friday evening.

Balakrishna Bhat, renowned stage artiste Mohan Marnad, veteran litterateur V Ga Nayak, Kannadiga Patrakartara Sangh – Maharastra president Chandrashekar Palettady and Akshaya – Kannada monthly editor Dr Eshwar Alevoor were the chief guests present.

Balakrishna Nidwannaya, B S Kurkal, Dr Vyasaraya Ninjoor, M B Kukyan, Dr S K Bhavani, Babu Shiva Poojary, Surendra Kumar Hegde, S K Sundar, Sa Daya, Pandit Navinchandra Sanil, Vasant Kalakoti, Chittrapu K M Kotian, Anita Poojary, P V Ithal, Jayalaxmi Srinivas Jokatte among others were present.

Karnataka Sangh honourary secretary Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu, vice president B T Nayak felicitated the dignitaries.

Omdas Kannangar welcomed the gathering. B P Kusuma compered the programme.

    Congratulations to the organizers. You have ed a right person to release Kannad books. Dr Na Mogasale is really a great Kannada writer, whose contribution is not rightly recognized. May God bless you, Dr. Mogasale we need writer and social worker like you.
