Woodley to play cancer patient

London, Mar 21 (IANS): Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley has signed to play a cancer sufferer, who falls in love with a fellow patient, in Josh Boone's romantic drama titled "The Fault of Our Stars".

The 21-year-old actress will play the role of Hazel Grace Lancaster in the film, an adaptation of John Green's romantic best-seller about two cancer-stricken teenagers.

"Over 250 girls read the script, but it wasn't until Woodley stepped in front of the camera that I truly saw Hazel for the first time. It was like lightning striking. I can't wait for the rest of the world to see what I have," said Boone, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
