Mumbai, Mar 29:
Mumbai Arch dioceses Auxiliary Bishop Dr Percival E Fernandez washed the feet of priests and celebrated Maundy Thursday with Mass in Clergy Home Bandra (West), here on Thursday March 28.

Lord Jesus died on the cross on Good Friday. Before his crucifixion he had his last supper with his 12 disciples and washed their feet as a symbol of love. Hence all Christians celebrated Maundy Thursday in the Churches on this day.

Bishop Ferdie Fonseca was present.
