Renovated office of Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industry opens

Mumbai, Apr 5: “Trust is everything in business and entrepreneurs must focus their energies in realizing their dreams embodied with human virtues. Meanwhile, one has to set aside a portion of their income to serve humanity out of social responsibility,” said Shashikiran Shetty, managing director, metro-based All Cargo Global Logistics Limited. He was speaking at the inauguration of the renovated office of the Indian Bunts Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI) at B-106, Oxford Chamber, Powai, Saki – Vihar Road, Andheri (East), on Friday April 5.

“One who has the foremost interest of the customer at heart can become a successful entrepreneur.Associates from across the country and overseas can offer expert advice to upcoming entrepreneurs.  It’s not possible to meet them personally, and the IBCCI serves as a medium to offer give valuable business solutions. The businesses are heavily dependent on banks and the Bunts community has been planning to float a bank,” he added.

Shashikiran also inaugurated the newly-refurbished office of Matrubhoomi Co-operative Credit Society branch of Sakinaka on the same occasion. The Bank is promoted by metro-based Bunts
Sangh.

IBCCI President Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty presided the programme he hopes IBCCI will groom the future entrepreneurs among the community youth.

Speaking on the occasion, Bunts Sangh president Shankar Shetty said that Bunts community has strong faith in Nagriguttu Vivek Shetty to take IBCCI to greater heights. Matrabhoomi Co-operative Credit Society chairman Ratnakar Shetty Mundkoor was present at the dais.
 
IBCCI vice-president Ultoor Mohandas Shetty, treasurer Ramesh B Shetty, directors Dr Prabhakar Shetty B, Kishore Kumar M Shetty, Mahesh S Shetty, Ratnakar G Shetty, Mundappa S Payyade, Uma K Shetty and Karunakar M Shetty, senior manager Mallika P Shetty, accounts officer Pratima U Shetty, community veterans M D Shetty, chartered accountants I R Shetty and Praveen B Shetty, lawyer Ratnakar R Shetty, Shyam N Shetty, Appanna M Shetty, N C Shetty and office-bearers of the Bunts community organizations and associations were present on the occasion.
 
The Society’s honorary secretary Jayaram A Shetty expressed hope of collecting Rs 100 crore in deposits.

Asian Investment Securities chairman Prasad Shetty offered to partner in the activities of IBCCI.
IBCCI vice-president Kutpady Chandra Shetty, honorary joint secretary D P Rai, joint treasurer Pandu S Shetty, and directors chartered accountant Shankar B Shetty and Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty were also present.

Vidwan Somashekar Bhat Mulund performed ‘Laxmi puja’, ‘Ganahoma’ and ‘Satyanarayan puja’ on the renovated premises.

IBCCI honorary chief secretary S B Shetty briefed about the humble beginning and past activities over 20 years. IBCCI director Ratnakar Shetty Morla introduced the guests. Nagriguttu Vivek welcomed the gathering. C V Shetty compered the programme. Joint secretary K M Shetty proposed vote of thanks.
