Doha: TKQ to host Tulu Parba on April 19

Doha, Apr 14: With the objective of bringing all Tuluvas residing in Qatar under one umbrella and also to promote awareness of their mother land's rich culture among the new generation,Tulu Koota has been organizing 'Tulu Parba' every year. This year’s celebrations will be held on Friday April 19 at Al Ghazal Club 4.30 pm.
 
Tulu drama 'Julie My Darling' directed and enacted by the talented artistes of Tulu Koota Qatar will be the special attraction this year. The finest talents from Tulu Koota Qatar are working hard to present a scintillating evening with a variety of performances.  

Story, screenplay, dialogue and direction has been written by Rajshekar Bappal. Milan Arun is the creative director while music will be directed by Charan Das Kumar (music director of Tulu films). Advanced Technical Service (ATS) are the main sponsors for the event.
 
Preferred dress code for the evening for men will be the jubba/shirt - lungi/dhoti (not compulsory for the members, those who are interested to come with the traditional dress are welcome) while the ladies will adorn a saree, preferably Kanjeevaram.
 
At the end of the celebration, a dinner will be arranged for all the attendees. Only cost of the food will be shared by the attendees. All children are exempted from this cost.
