Rain prompts man to steal car in Moscow


Moscow, Apr 26 (IANS/RIA Novosti): Police have detained a young man who allegedly stole a car in Moscow because he was tired of waiting for a bus in the rain, the interior ministry said.

The man, an unemployed 19-year-old Muscovite, stole the car but lost control of it and crashed into a lamp post, the ministry said.

A criminal case has been opened against the man on charges of automobile theft. The charge carries a prison sentence of up to five years.
