Clint Eastwood's ultimate optimism: to make films at 105

Los Angeles, Apr 29 (IANS): At 82, actor-filmmaker Clint Eastwood, who rose to fame with TV series "Rawhide" and later won the best director Oscar for his movie "Unforgiven", dreams of making films for two more decades.

At the Tribeca Film Festival, he said that he admires the 104-year-old Portugese filmmaker Manoel de Oliveira.

Calling the thought as "the ultimate optimism", he said: "It would be great to be 105 and still making films."

The "Million Dollar Baby" director joined filmmaker Darren Aronofsky for a conversation at the film festival following the screening of documentary "Eastwood Directs: The Untold Story" by Richard Schickel, reports accesshollywood.com.

The documentary highlights the movies Eastwood has made, explores his direction style and features comments from the people with whom he has worked.
