Mangalore: Alva's College students excel in SSLC, PUC

Mangalore, May 8:
Suraj Hegde from Alva's College has scored 593 in commerce stream and stood first in the state.

Science stream: Out of the 2524 students who appeared for the exam 2513 passed (99.56 percent). P M Girish secured 98.33 percent (English: 96, Sanskrit: 97, physics: 100, chemistry: 99, maths: 99, electronics: 99, total: 590).

Commerce stream: Out of the 509 students who appeared for the exam 507 passed (99.60 percent). Suraj Hegde got the highest in the state in commerce stream (business maths: 100, statistics: 100, accountancy: 100, business studies: 100, Sanskrith: 98, English: 95, total: 593; 98.83%).

Arts stream: Out of the 51 students who appeared for the exam 50 passed (98.03 percent). Sanjana M P secured 92.33% (total 554) and Kirthi  Walvekar secured 92.33%( total 554).
The overall pass percentage: 99.54

 

SSLC English medium results
Out of 39 students who appeared for the exam, 18 passed with distinction. 20 passed with first class, 1 passed with second class. M Shreyas S Kamath secured 612 marks, Sanchitha H B secured 596 marks, Santhosh C secured 592 marks.

SSLC Kannada medium results
Out of 56 students who appeared for the exam, 37 passed with distinction. 16 passed with first class, 3 passed with second class. Suhas S Shetty secured 607 marks, Ranjitha secured 606, Subramanya Manjunath Acharya secured 602, Parvathy Chandrashekar Nayak secured 598 marks, Ranjana Ramachandra Bhat secured 596.



Both in Kannada and English medium, Alva’s has obtained cent percent result. Alva’s has secured 100% results for the fourth time in a row.
