Udupi: Rs 4 lac in cash found in auto rickshaw

Udupi, May 12: Udupi DCIB police near Mannapalla in Manipal seized unaccounted money worth Rs 4 lac in an auto rickshaw on Friday May 10 evening.

DCIB inspector Praveen H Nayak and officials patrolling stopped the rickshaw near Mannapalla gate and questioned the driver Ishwar Poojary of Hassan-Sakalesapur Heggade gram. On inspection, police found Rs 4 lac near the steering, wrapped in paper.

Police seized the money and registered a case.
