Bahrain, Jan 2: 'Jolly Friends' initiated their New Year in joyous and jubilant celebration with cultural dance, sportive and very competitive fancy dress competition with 8 participants in children category & 23 participants in adults category with superlative entertainment depicting homely atmosphere.

Ryan Fernandes (the robber), bagged the first place in the children’s category with Jason D’sa (Junior Pandit) and Shaina Maria Machado (Red Indian) to follow up with second and third places.

In the adults category Vivian Rodrigues (Prisoner) bagged the first place and was presented the diamond ring followed by  Pramila Fernandes (old lady) and Henry D’ Almeida (Channa Walla) who won the 2 ½ gram and 1 gram gold biscuit respectively.

Jolly group members were very thankful to Chemmanur Jewelers, the main sponsors of the party and judges Richard Moras and Ronald.

Shawn Elroy Machado impressed the gathering as the master of Ceremony (M.C). with bright future displaying characteristics of a good toast master.

The success of  the party was seen by the enthusiasm of  Jolly Friends with some great dancing which never left the dance floor vacant.

The party ended with sumptuous dinner from Shringar Restaurant
