New Delhi, Jan 5: In the wake of terrorist strike in Bangalore, the Union Home Ministry on Wednesday reviewed the security arrangements in Hyderabad which will host the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and plenary session of the All India Congress Committee later this month.
 
An official spokesman said a meeting, chaired by Union Home secretary V K Duggal and attended by top Central paramilitary chiefs, took stock of the security situation in the state.

It was decided to ensure foolproof security arrangements for these two events and the Centre had assured representatives of the state all necessary assistance, the spokesman said.
