Michael Bay to direct 'Ghost Recon'?

Los Angeles, Jun 13 (IANS): Director Michael Bay is reportedly working on the big screen adaptation of military video game series “Ghost Recon”.

The “Transformers” director is working with Warner Bros. to helm the movie adaptation of the hit video game series, created by Ubisoft.

The project's development is still in the early stages, but the studio's bosses believe Bay is the man to bring the military video games to life on the big screen, reports contactmusic.com.

"These guys don't belong to any specific organisation. They're in the field where the US troops are not supposed to be. It's a small team with very strong personalities and very specific skill sets. They're using weapons nobody knows about but it's very grounded. It's not sci-fi,” said Jean Julien Baronnet, CEO, Ubisoft Motion Pictures.
