Mumbai, Jun 20: The Mulund (East) branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank organized silver jubilee celebrations of their branch here on Wednesday June 19.
The metro based Satyanarayana Industrial Supplies Private Limited managing director Dharmapal U Devadiga inaugurated the silver jubilee celebrations here on Wednesday morning.
Speaking on the occasion, Dharmapal said that he has been their customer for 25 years, which has met all his banking needs of both national and international, said Dharmapal. He lauded the relentless efforts of the former chairman Jaya C Suvarna and chairman Vasudev R Kotian in the rapid growth of Bharat Bank.
The entrepreneur Padmakar Kotian, son of the Bank founder director the late L D Kotian said that he has been dealing with the branch since the past 25 years. The staff is co-ordial who have helped him in his endeavor, said Padmakar.
The Bank CEO C R Mulky said Bharat Bank that was sponsored by Billawar Association – Mumbai has carved a niche in co-operative banks in the country. It’s one of the top customer-friendly among co-operative bank in India.
t has created a history wherein 6,200 accounts were opened and deposits of Rs 26.70 crore collected on the inaugural day of opening the branch at Mulky in Mangalore taluk. The bank has opened one more branch at Mulund (West) to tap the potential of banking. He commended the efforts of Board of Directors, bank staff for contributing for the rapid growth of the bank.
