Mumbai:Chembur K'tka Sangh high school tops SSLC exams

Mumbai, Jun 20: During the the academic year 2012 – 13 SSLC examination conducted by Maharashtra education board, Karnataka high school under Chembur Karnataka Sangh secured good results.

Tulu-Kannada students studying the school namely Sharad S Gowda bagged 87.40 %, Swathi N Shetty bagged 85.45 % while Bradula B Shetty bagged 84.40 %, thus passed out with distinction.

Sharad Gowda, son of Suresh Gowda and Pramoda S Gowda haild from Mandya district, Swathi Shetty, daughter of Ningaraja Shetty and Meenakshi N Shetty hails from Holenarasipura while Bradula B Shetty is daughter of Balachandra G Shetty and Sheela P Shetty.

While Kannada medium students secured cent percent results, English medium secured 98.33 %, hence overall percentage of the school is 98.67% said association president Prabhakar Shetty Bolar and honorary chief secretary Vishwanath S Shenava. Most of the students have excelled with first class marks said treasurer Devdas Shettigara.
