Mumbai: Sa Daya’s Gurugunji book to release on Jun 29

Mumbai, Jun 28: ‘Sa Daya’ fame Dayanad Salian the metro’s renowned stage director, poet and writer authored book 'Gurugunji' published by metro based Chukki Sankula Publication, will be released during a function scheduled to be held at the auditorium of Karnataka Sangh Mumbai, here on Saturday June 29 at 4 pm.

MB Kukyan, honorary editor of Billawar Sangh Mumbai’s monthly bulletin will release the prominent litterateur authored book, Badk - Barevu and Sa Daya authored fifth book Gurugunji here on June 29.

 

Karnataka Sangh honorary secreatry Dr Bharat Kumar Polipu will preside the function.

Thane Bunts president chartered accountant Karunakar Shetty, yaksha Manasa organization chairman Shekar R Shetty will be the guests of honour. Akshaya monthly bulletin sub-editor Harish K Hejamady will read the forward of Professor Sitaram Shetty authored book Badk Barevu, that has vital information on Kannada and Tulu literature that has been harnessed by Shetty in his 40 years of life in metro.

Sa Daya is an accomplished litterateur both in Kannada and Tulu.  He is a playwright of many dramas and also a poet with love for rural landscape.  He lives with his wife Nayana and son Raghavendra at the central suburb of Dombivali.
