Mumbai: Satya Narayan Puja held at renovated Hotel Lalit

Mumbai, Jul 6: The renovated famous Lalit Hotel located in the suburban Goregaon (West) nearby Topiwala theater, since over 4 decades was inaugurated here on Friday July 5 morning.

Lalit Hotel is recognized by Indian Tourism Board and successfully managed by its owner Jagannath V Kotian. It was begun by the then well known hotelier Rukkaram Salian, since then it has carved its own brand in the locality.



Satyanarayan puja and Vedic rituals were held by the celebrant Gururaj Bhat at the Crystal auditorium in the renovated Lalit Hotel at the occasion.The local Shiv Sena leader MLA Subash Desai, corporator Raj Padhye, Billawar Association Mumbai president L. V. Amin, vice president Nityanand D. Kotian, Bharat Co-Op. Bank Mumbai Ltd. CEO C R Mulky, director Bhaskar M. Salian and other dignitaries were present.Lalit Hotel family members Leelavati J Kotian, Chetan J Kotian, Bipin J Kotian, architect Sujit M Kotian Mulky, Ashwini L Suvarna, Lalit Suvarna and others were also present.

The new generation of hotelier J V Kotian belongs to family of L R Nivas, Kattadangadi, Bappanadu, Mulky in Mangalore taluk.  He is a philanthropist and a successful hotelier in the metro.  He is serving as chairman of Goregaon co-ordination Committee of Billawar Association – Mumbai; director of Bharat Co.Op. Bank Mumbai Ltd, president of Mumbai Committee of Sri Dharmasthana – Karnad Mulky and vice president of Lalita Charitable Trust that owns Gurunarayan College, Mulky.

Lalit Hotel is famous for its distinct dishes that include Indian, Moghlai, Punjabi, Chinese, continental etc.  It has a spacious hall with the seating capacity of 500 people, ideal to organize weddings, engagements, birthday celebrations, conferences, meetings etc. J V Kotian announced special discount to Tulu – Kannadigas in organizing the auspicious occasions at Lalit Hotel.
