Mangalore, Jan 21: The Konkani Sanskitik Sangha will celebrate its silver jubilee on Sunday January 22, in the T V Raman Pai Convention Centre at 4 pm here.
Madhusudhan D Kushe, director, PVS Group of Companies, will preside. Sandhya Pai, executive editor, Taranga weekly magazine, and B R Bhat, general manager, Corporation Bank, will be the guests of honour.
Kausalya Manjeshwar, Hindustani vocalist, M Vasudeva Shet, founder, Panchamahalakshmi Gayatri Devi Temple, Vithob Nagvekar, proprietor, Komals Group, G G Laxman Prabhu, urologist and Shakuntala Kini, announcer, Akashvani, will be honoured for their achievements in their respective fields.
A cultural programme to follow will include Bharatnatyam by Sulaj Kini, sitar recital by Ankush Nayak and Konkani devotional songs by Shankar Shanbagh.
