Udupi, Jan 24: He is a wonder and prodigy.  With his marvellous talents he has taken everyone by surprise.  He is just 4.  But he has already given enough indications that his talents are much above his age.  Still in his UKG, he has now been selected for the prestigious "Republic Day" award to be given in Bangalore on Republic Day on Thursday January 26.

Yash Jogi, the son of Shashikant Jogi and Vimla Jogi here is already a well-acclaimed child artiste in Yakshagana.  He is indeed a born talent with amazing sense and skill.  With his talent he has already secured quite a few fans of his own in and around the city.  He is presently studying in UKG at the Vidyodaya Public School at Paniyadi.

A disciplined and attentive student of master Govind Bhandary of Bannanje, Yash has already presented many stage shows in both the coastal districts of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada.  His father Shashikant is an employee in a ship in America, while mother Vimla is a teacher at Fisheries School in Malpe.
