Mysore, Jan 25: The 10-day annual feast of Infant Jesus Church, Hinkal, concluded recently with variety of programmes.

Eucharistic celebrations began at 6.30 am on the concluding day and there was mass in different languages. Msgr. George Njaralakkatt, Vicar General, Diocese of Mananthavady, conducted the mass and there was mass feeding in the noon.

Rt. Rev. Dr. Thomas A. Vazhappilly, Bishop of Mysore, officiated at the Pontifical High Mass in the evening. Msgr. J.B. Xavier, Vicar General, Diocese of Mysore and Rev. Fr. Gervasis Mattam felicitated the congregation. M.R. Shivanna, News Editor, Star of Mysore, gave away the prizes.

Thousands of devotees thronged the church in faithful response to the abundant blessings they have received from Infant Jesus. More than 5,000 devotees participated in the procession with the statue of Infant Jesus in a colourful chariot.

Famous Singari Mela and other bandsets, Ammankudam, added grandeur to the celebrations. There was a mesmerising fire works and an orchestra by Cochin Sarangi.

Rev. Fr. Vincent Pudussery, the Parish Priest, Bastian Joseph, the General Convenor and the Central Committee members P.R. George, Johny Kunnel, K.V. Wilson, George Kumar, C.A. Varkey, K.C. Stanley led the celebrations.

Several competitions were held for young and old during the celebrations. Star of Mysore News Editor M.R. Shivanna distributed prizes to the winners.
