Riyadh, Jul 28: A massive Iftar party was hosted recently by the Katipalla Youth Muslim Association (KMYA)-Riyadh Unit, a voluntary organization established in 1989 consisting of young people from Katipalla.
The party was held at Istirah near Sulai in Riyadh. It was a good gathering with full of bustle of Katipalla youngsters. More than three hundred people including ladies and invited representatives of different organizations from Mangalore and other well-wishers took part in the Iftar.
In spite of the boiling summer and its scorching heat, the members of KMYA fully committed to organize the party in a well organized manner to cater the guests with different types of foods, condiments and saps.
The Maghrib prayer was followed soon after the Iftar. Katipalla Juma Masjid Khateeb, Habeebur Rahman Madani, who came to Saudi Arabia on a visit, led the prayer.
Jananza prayer was performed in absentia for those who died recently in Mangalore including the key personality of Jamiyyatul Falah & a leaiding social worker Syed Ahmed Husain, who died some days back in Mangalore.
The presence of Khateeb, Habeebur Rahman Madani; JF Amir Akhter Hussain; senior resident and KMYA main guide, Parvez Ali (Euromarche); Rajesh Kumar from KWAR Riyadh and others were present on the occasion.
KMYA president Sulaiman Katipalla and his team members -Ashfak Ahmed, Abdul Jabbar, Abdul Qayoom, P S Abdul Azeez, Shabeer Ahmed, Naushad Rasheed, Hussain Shafi, Ahmed Basheer, Rafi Ali And Mayyadi P H organized the event successfully.
