Mumbai, Aug 10: The sad demise of service oriented Kannadiga, senior poet and author, noted teacher and scholar, titled Kannada’s Bheeshmacharya Dr K Sanjeeva Shetty and active member of Jayashrikrishna environment lovers committee, engaged in all round development of Dakshina Kannada district, P Ramesh has caused irreparable loss to the tulu-kannadigas and undivided dakshina kannada districts, said Tonse Jayakrishna A Shetty, founder of Jayashrikrishna environment lovers committee.
Dr Sanjeeva Shetty, who belonged to Rayarabettu household of Kubevooru grama in Mulki was responsible for the birth of our committee and has immensely contributed as an advisor to it. He has also helped us by his guidance and suggestions.
Similarly P Ramesh, who belonged to Bankimajalu in Moodabidri Gudde angadi in Mangalore taluk by origin and was living in Mumbai, was a member of our working committee and had worked hard by sharing his experience with us. The committee has held a condolence meeting to pay homage to the departed souls on Saturday August 10, at 5 30 pm at Billava’s hall at Santacruz east.
The committee’s president Harish Kumar M Shetty, has requested Dr K Sanjeeva Shetty’s and P Ramesh’s well wishers and fans, office bearers of Tulu-kannada, social, cultural and religious organizations, relatives and friends to participate in large numbers in the meeting.
