Dubai, Aug 11: 'Spices 'N' Spirits' is here to add a dash of glamour to restaurant business in the UAE that is ruled by many Mangaloreans. Located at Sea View Hotel, Bur Dubai, Spices 'N' Spirits promises to be one of the best affordable places for dining with families without compromising on the quality.  The Bar & Restaurant that opened on August 5, has ample car parking facility and has a wide dine-in capacity for around 70 people.

Rakesh Malli, a well-known name in the restaurant business back in India, has extended his business activity to UAE.  The owner of Spices 'N' Spirits proudly says that he is here to add spice to the restaurant business of UAE and to cater to the real taste of Mangalorean dishes. He mentioned that he has chosen the chefs himself and hand-picked most of his staff.

Padmashree Dr B R Shetty of NMC Group, Sudhir Shetty of UAE Exchange, Raj Shetty of Ramee Group, Shekar Shetty of Arab Udupi Group, Shashi Shetty, Satish Venkataramana of Chilly Willy Trading, Harish Sherigar of Acme Building Materials, Shekar Shetty of Saiba Catering, Devesh Alva of Woodland & Woodside Restaurant, Sudhakar Alva, Sarvotham Shetty of Bunts Dubai, Sunder Shetty of Nihal Restaurant, Jayaram Rai including various businessmen, leaders of various community organisations in the UAE, presidents and office-bearers of various Tulu/Karnataka-based Sanghas in UAE, media representatives and friends in hundreds witnessed the celebrations at Spices ‘N’ Spirits opening and wished Rakesh on his new venture.  The invitees were greeted with tender coconut juice and later sumptuous dinner with variety of Mangalorean dishes served to all.

When it comes to hospitality business, it is the Mangalorean service that comes to everyone's mind. Hotels, restaurants and resorts have always been the pride of Mangalore. It is Mangalorean cuisine that has been liked and savored by many residents in Dubai over the years.

Spices 'N' Spirits intends to serve authentic Mangalorean cuisine accompanied by the famous Mangalorean service. One can relish real Mangalorean taste at Spices 'N' Spirits and it may even become a home away from home for many residents in Dubai.  The restaurant promises to serve its diners ‘a finger-licking’ experience as the spices touch your heart and you relish the taste with family and friends on weekdays and weekends.

Specialties at Spices 'N' Spirits include Mangalorean sea food, South Indian/tandoori and North Indian/Chinese cuisine. Spices 'N' Spirits special dishes include chicken curry, mutton, curry, sanna, neer dosa, kori rotti, kube sukka, chicken sukka, chicken ghee roast, mutton sukka, and a variety of North Indian and Kerala cuisine.

The restaurant is open from 12 am to 3 pm for lunch and 6.30 pm to 1 am for dinner.

    Congratulations Rakesh, nice to hear about opening of Spices n Spirits. Nice that SHetty saab, Sudhir graced the occassion, Nice to Devesh too. Few months back, met Devesh and visited his woodlands and we were talking of you. It was nice to meet after so many years. Would definitely in when I come to Dubai, want to see you.     Dear Malli, Congrats for fecilating the new BAR n Restaurant 'SPICES N SPIRITS' in Dubai.It was our one of the Longest dream to be have a Mangalore style BAR in Dubai. Every week end we were struggling to find right BAR in Dubai. Again the BAR located just behind to our flat and no worry about Drunk n Drive.
