Mumbai: Sri Jagadamba Kalabairava temple observes Naga Panchami

Mumbai, Aug 12:  Naga Panchami was celebrated in a grand manner at the Sri Jagadamba Kalabairava temple in Gumga thekadi, Krishna Nagar, Kems Raod, Jogeshwari West Mumbai on Sunday August 11.

On this auspicious occasion, general Ashlesha Bali, Nagatanu, Nagathambila, 108 tender coconut abhisheka, milk Abhisheka, Panchamratha abisheka, Mahapuje and annasantharpane were performed under the able leadership of Nagaraj Pothi and Srinivasa Udupa.

The chief priest of the temple, P C Jayaprakash performed the afternoon Mahapuja , distributed the Prasadam and blessed the devotees. This year, thousands of devotees took part in the religious rituals, received prasadam and seeked blessings from the serpent god.

Administrator G T Acharya, temple committee trustees Muddu P Suvarna, Sanjeeva Poojary, D T Kundar, Sundar Poojary and many others were present on the occasion.
