Mumbai, Aug 23: Sangeet Ratna Victor Concessao of ‘Victor Nite’ fame was recently awarded conferred Kalakiran Lifetime Achievement Award during a public function held at Karnataka Sangha Hall, Matunga, here.
John D'Silva, president of Konkani Bhasha Mandal, honoured Victor Concessao with shawl, flowers, fruits, citation and a cheque. Lawrence D'Souza, Joseph D'Souza, Henry Lobo, Lawrence Coelho, P N Shanbag, Filu Kalmadi and Walter D’Souza were present at the dais.
After receiving the award, Victor Concessao thanked God and all his fans as well as his well wishers who supported him throughout his career.
John D'Silva welcomed the audience. Joseph D'Souza read the citation. Lawrence D'Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Filu Kalmadi compered the programme.
