Mangalore, Feb 13: The police have succeeded in arresting 3 persons accused in the Nainesh murder case on Sunday February 12.
Though the initial reports had confirmed only the arrest of Girish, the prime accused, by the police at KSRTC Bust Stand, the latest reports have also confirmed that two more accused Venkat and Arun too have been arrested.
Girish is the owner of Sadev Finance at Konchady. He was also the close friend of Nainesh. Right now there have been two versions as why did Girish kill his friend Nainesh. As per the first version, Nainesh had borrowed Rs 15,000 in loan from Sudev Finance owned by Girish. However, he had not lent them back. When Girish repeatedly asked him about the repayment, the latter is said to have threatened Girish of killing.
Apparently, Nainesh's brother-in-law Rowdy Yaddu alias Yajnesh is among a few notorious criminals seen by the district. So Nainesh used to threaten Girish taking his brother-in-law's name. Enraged and distressed by this Girish along with his friends Arun and Venkat stabbed Nainesh on February 8.
But the version has some other story to tell. According to this Nainesh used to tease Girish's wife these days. Though Girish had warned him against doing so, Nainesh continued. At last enraged by Nainesh's attitude, Girish killed him.
On Tuesday February 7 evening, Venkat, a resident of Padavinangadi called Nainesh to join him over a dinner. Both of them got into route no 19 bus and got down at KPT. Girish and Arun joined them there. Thereafter they went into bar and had drinks. Once Nainesh was beyond his senses, they put him in the car and on the way stabbed him. There were 20 marks of stab on Nainesh's body.
Once he breathed his last, they threw his body near helipad at Maryhill and fled the place. From there the accused fled to Bangalore on the same night.
In the meantime, Girish's motorcycle was found in the parking lot of KSRTC bus stand on Friday February 10.
The Kavoor police are investigating the case.
