Man held for raping daughter in Bihar

Patna, Sep 11 (IANS): A man has been arrested in Bihar for raping his 16-year-old daughter, police said Wednesday.

The man was arrested in Bhojpur district, about 60 km from the capital, after the girl lodged a complaint with the police Tuesday against her father.

In the complaint, the girl said her father raped her last week.

"My father used to talk dirty with me and was trying to molest me for some time but I resisted it. Five days ago, he raped me. When I shouted for help, my step-mother did not come to rescue me," she said in her complaint.

The girl was later taken for medical examination to district headquarters Ara.
