Udupi: ICYM Kolalgiri hosts cultural event to mark Monthi Fest

Udupi, Sep 11: The Youth Movement of Kolalgiri Parish, Udupi Diocese organized 'Monti fest hacho Dabajo’ cultural event on September 8 from 3 pm onwards.

Singers, musicians, actors and dancers presented their performance on this occasion. From children to elders nearly 50 parishioners of Kolalgiri Parish showcased their talents.

Fr Wilfred Frank, parish priest of Kolalgiri Parish and director of Youth Movement of Kolalgiri Parish conveyed Nativity Feast greetings in his message.

Parish Pastoral vice president Helen Fabiana D’souza, secretary Queeni Marry D’souza and Parish youth movement animator Br Peter Pereira were also present during the occasion.

The lucky draw for a family and for children was also held which was lead by Jenifer Lobo.

Derik Mascarenhas called out the names of all Youth supporters who helped in kind during this event for which Fr Wilfred Frank, Parish Priest distributed mementos as a token of gratitude.

Youth Movement coordinator Wilma Baretto welcomed the gathering, Delishia Mascarenhas proposed vote of thanks, Natasha D’souza and Jeevan D’Souza compered the event.
