Sultry Wednesday in Delhi, cloudy Thursday likely


New Delhi, Sep 11 (IANS): Delhiites experienced a sunny, sultry Wednesday as the maximum temperature settled three notches above average at 36.6 degrees Celsius. The Met office has forecast a cloudy Thursday.

"The skies will remain partly cloudy and the maximum temperature is likely to touch 35 degrees Celsius," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity was recorded between a high and low of 86 and 46 percent, respectively.

The minimum temperature Wednesday was the season's average, at 25.5 degrees Celsius.

Tuesday's minimum temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below average for this time of year, while the maximum was 30.6 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
