Udupi: 'Jaycee members command unique respect in the country '

Udupi, Sep 11: Jaycees have a huge responsibility of attracting youth in their movement and make them talented. Those who are inspired by the Jaycees movement have commanded unique respect in the country, said Sridhar P S, regional president of JCI 15 region.
 
He was addressing on the concluding day of Kaup Jaycees Week – 2013 Sapthagiri Sangama held at Kaup Sri Narayana Guru hall.

Chief guest, minister of urban development and district in charge minister Vinay Kumar Sorake said that the only large organization which is based on personality development is Jaycees. People coming out from Jaycees to other sectors are given great respect, he said.  
 
Secular Janata dal district president Devi Prasad Shetty, Shirva M S R S college administrator Professor Y Bhaskar Shetty, Regional vice president Ratnakar Indrali, Kaup grama panchayat president Usha Shenoy, Industrialist Guthinar Ramesh Shetty Bairuguthu and Deepak Kumar Ermal were the chief guests.
 
Progressive graduate farmer Raghavendra Nayak, talented students Kumari Manasa Acharya and Yatish were felicitated on the occasion. Kaup JCI immediate past president was felicitated by a letter of appreciation.
 
Jayceerette president Saumya Rakesh and co director of Saptaha, Yogish Rai were present.
 
President of the programme, JCI president Rakesh Kunjoor welcomed. Designated president Anil Kumar read the report. JCI secretary Ramesh Naik thanked.

An inter district film dance competition was held after the programme. Winners were given cash prizes and trophies.
