Kundapur, Sep 15: "My aim to make the undivided Dakshina Kannada remain ahead of others in the field of education. In this regard, special attention is paid for improvement in educational sector and basic facilities in educational institutions making the projects get implemented at a faster pace," said Byndoor Legislative assembly MLA Gopal Poojary.

He was addressing the gathering after laying the foundation stone for Akshara Dasoha kitchen at Hattiangadi government higher primary school.

Zilla panchayat member Indira Shetty, taluk panchayat member Susheela, grama panchayat president Lalitha Ganiga, former president Thotabail Santhosh Shetty, grama panchayat members Prabhakar Shetty, Sabladi Santhosh Shetty, Ashok Devadiga, Muthayya Kanyana, Kusta Devadiga, Deepa, headmaster Gopala Shetty, SDMC president Manjunatha Shetty, vice president Geetha Udupa, group resource person Ganapathi Hobalidar, retired teacher Chandrashekar Bhandarkar and others were present on the occasion.
