Mangalore: Bike skids on Kulur flyover, rider critical

Mangalore, Sep 15: A 32-year-old man was critically injured when his motorcycle skidded on Kulur flyover on Saturday September 14 night.

The injured has been identified as Girish (32) from Baikampady.

The bike skidded and hit the edge of the road and as a result, the rider fell off the flyover from the height of over 10 feet. He suffered severe injuries and was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Mangalore.

Girish was on his way home from Mangalore when the accident occurred. During the incident, there were no vehicles on the road below the flyover and as a result major tragedy was averted.

A case has been registered at Kavoor police station.
