Factory worker jumps into Yamuna from bridge

New Delhi, Sep 22 (IANS): A 25-year-old depressed factory worker jumped into the Yamuna river from a bridge here, police said Sunday. A search is on for his body.

Vaibhav, a resident of Jagatpuri in east Delhi, jumped from Geeta Colony bridge in east Delhi Saturday evening, police said.

"Vaibhav's younger brother told us that the duo were returning home from a factory on scooter. Vaibhav, who was riding pillion, got off the vehicle to urinate but jumped into the river from the bridge," said a police officer.

Police said they were yet to ascertain the reason for Vaibhav's depression.
