BSF warns people against fake job promises

Kolkata, Sep 23 (IANS): The Border Security Force (BSF) Monday said some its personnel with "vested interests" were duping people by promising jobs of constable by faking its office seals.

"It has come to notice that some vested interest personnel are involved in alluring candidates for recruitment in BSF for the post of Constable (GD) by preparing and circulating fake appointment letters affixing fake office seal of Frontier Headquarter BSF South Bengal using designation and appointment of BSF officer," said a BSF release.

The BSF said it had not issued any appointment letter directing candidates to join in its subsidiary training centre at Jharkhand's Hazaribagh district between Sep 25 and Sep 29.
