Michael Serrao (58) dies in Mumbai: Please help locate family

Mumbai, Oct 7: Michael Leo Serrao (58), said to be a native of Kinnigoli near Mangalore, passed away in Mumbai on Sunday, October 6 due to a heart failure. However, there is no information about his family back home and his mortal remains have not yet been claimed.
As per information available, Michael had been working in Dahisar in Mumbai for the last eighteen years and had recently joined as a waiter at Hotsip bar at Gokuldam here.
He had finished his duty on Saturday Ocober 5 and had gone to the staff room to rest as usual. However, when he did not appear even till afternoon on Sunday, his colleagues went to check on him, and found him in a serious condition. He was rushed to hospital, where the doctors declared him dead.
Michael had a pan card (ALLPS9027M) and could speak Tulu, Kannada and Konkani languages. He used to go out sometimes saying that he was visiting his sister, but nobody knows about her.
Nobody clearly knows where actually he belongs and who his relatives are. His mortal remains are kept in the morgue at Bhagavathi Hospital in Borilvli west. The hotel owners who were his employers have been trying to get in touch with his relatives.
A police complaint in this regard has been registered in Borivli west police station in MHB colony.
