Madgaon blast: Investigation team visits Kadaba

Puttur, Oct 24: In connection to the blast in Madgaon, Goa in 2009, the CID officials on Wednesday October 23 visited Kadaba in search of the prime accused Jayaprakash alias Jayanna (42) from Nujibalthila gram.

The CID officials during their visit pasted posters of Jayaprakash outside revenue office, police station and his residence.

Speaking to reporters, the officials said that the Madgaon special court judge P V Savaikar has given Jayaprakash November 29 as the last day to surrender.

Two persons died and several others were injured in the blast. In connection to this case, already six members are arrested and four are absconding, including Jayaprakash.

The officials said that the people who can give credible information on the absconding accused will be given a prize money of Rs 25,000.
