Bhatkal: One killed in road accident

Bhatkal, Oct 27: A motorcyclist was killed on the spot in an accident that took place here on Saturday October 26 midnight.

The deceased has been identified as Ashok D’Souza (32).

Ashok was on his way to Bhatkal from Honnawar when the accident occured. It is learnt that an unknown vehicle hit him and fled away.

Police immediately rushed to the spot. The body was later taken to Bhatkal government hospital.

A case has been registered at Bhatkal rural police station
