Mangalore, Mar 25: A daylong conference of all the Chambers of Commerce and Trade Bodies of the Southern States of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh and Goa will be held on Sunday March 26 at the Conference Hall of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chamber Building, Bunder here.
Agenda
- Formation of a confederation of all the Chambers of Commerce and Trade Bodies of the Southern States to provide an apex forum for common cause.
- Steps for intensifying the present nation-wide non-compliance agitation against the levy of Service Tax on users off Road Transport to secure speedy remedy.
- Such other relevant matters of common interest on national level.
The conference is convened in furtherance of the decisions taken at the Traders’ Meet of the Southern States held in the city on November 5, 2005.
