New Delhi, Oct 28 (IANS): A light veil of mist enveloped the city early Monday but the skies are expected to remain sunny through the day, the Met Office said.
"The afternoon will be sunny while shallow fog will return towards the evening which will be pleasant," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 30 degrees Celsius.
Monday's minimum temperature settled a notch above the season's average at 16.8 degrees Celsius.
The city had experienced similar weather Sunday and the maximum temperature had settled a notch below the seasons' average at 30.2 degrees while the minimum was recorded at 18 degrees - a notch above the average.
