Mangalore, Mar 26: A student appearing for the pre university examinations in the district was caught red handed for resorting to malpractice during the exams.

The first instance reported in the DK district so far, the student writing his exams in the Kanyana examination centre in Bantwal was caught coping by the exam vigilance squad.

The student Abdul Hameed who was caught on Saturday, March 25 was debarred immediately.
