Little boy sits in pope's chair, steals the show

Vatican City, Oct 30 (AP): In this image taken from TV footage taken on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 a young boy, no name available, sits in the chair of Pope Francis as he delivers his speech during an audience with families in St. Peter's Square gathered for the Pontifical Council for the Family's plenary assembly, at the Vatican . The young boy, part of a group of children sitting around the stage where the pontiff was delivering his message to families, played around Pope Francis as he continued delivering his speech, occasionally patting the boy's head.

Pope Francis was delivering a homily but a little boy stole the show. Francis was speaking in St. Peter's Square about the important role grandparents play when a little boy walked up behind him and confidently climbed up and sat down on the pontiff's white chair.

The Vatican says Francis was surrounded by elderly faithful and their grandchildren Saturday night at a rally to encourage family life when the boy came up, wearing a striped shirt, jeans and sneakers.

Acting like an indulgent grandpa, Francis let the boy explore the area undisturbed before tens of thousands of people. The pope smiled while reading his speech as the boy sat in the empty chair, gazed up at him and even at one point clung to the pontiff's legs.

Pope's Christ-like attitude in love and humility is making greater revolutions, not only in the Catholic Church, but among the non-Christian people. The criminals in Argentina are surrendering their weapons. One Muslim friend told me " I respect the Pope because I see JESUS CHRIST
in him". Pope Francis who has led the Catholic Charismatic movement in Argentina will be creating greater spiritual revolutions in the days ahead. We all need to exalt him in our daily prayers.

Words, actions, attitude to little children makes a very big impact, difference in their life not only now but also later on in their life.
This is the true story of 2 alter boys of different cities wanted to become priests.

One alter boy while serving mass, accidentally hit the chalice that contained wine. The priest after the mass shouted at this alter boy saying - "Get out, you will never serve as an alter boy again".

In another city church, the other alter boy, done the similar thing - while serving mass, accidentally hit the chalice that contained wine. After the mass, the priest called the alter boy and said - Hey, everybody make mistakes. So what, not a big deal. May be you will become a priest too and he chuckled.

Thirty years later, the second alter boy became Archbishop Fulton Sheen, one of the most loved religious leader of America.

The first alter boy, he became Joseph Tito an atheist and ruthless dictator of Yugoslavia.

Words, action are powerful. They can heal or bless. They can encourage or destroy. What u give, u receive.

This action of Pope Francis just speaks the true message of our Lord. Love and Humanity.

Perhaps, Bishop Fulton Sheen is the most well known U.S. Catholic Bishop in the world. I have heard his speeches in T.V., fantastic preacher of the gospel close friend of Dr. Billy Graham and many non-Christian people around the world.

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof" Proverbs 18:21 (Bible). To a person who is ready to jump from the bridge to commit suicide, our words of kindness and love can change that person. On the other hand, if we shower him or her with hopelessness, the jumping will be faster. Our words are very powerful to change lives or to explode nuclear bombs.

Nice to see humanity prevail. This is what i am talking about in all platforms on daiji. Live and let live, be humans first irrespective of cast, creed & colour. If you act greatful & just, like the pope did even the other religion will respect yours. Thanks to politics we are all divided right now, in India atleast.

I watched the video. Amazing !!!!!!. This man is the true Vicar of Christ. His charisma lies in his simplicity and his concern for the poor, the oppressed and the marginalized, and this is attracting people towards him, even those who had abandoned the faith.I pray for his good health and a long reign as the Supreme Pontiff, so that he is able to accomplish his mission of bringing the church back to Christ.

    Jesus says about children.
he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
    Matthew 19: 13-14
Then little children were brought to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
    Mark 9:37
“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”
