Bangalore, Mar 28: Police have made "progress" in their investigation into the terror attack at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) campus in Bangalore in December last, city police commissioner Ajay Kumar Singh said on Tuesday.
"There is progress," he told reporters but added the details could not be shared now.
Singh said 12 persons had been arrested in connection with the attack that left a former Delhi-based IIT professor dead.
He said investigation showed that the militants involved in the bomb blasts on the eve of Diwali in Delhi last year had no link with the IISc attack. The city police had been in contact with their counterparts in Delhi but "the two things are not connected," Singh said.
