Bantwal: Police try to solve traffic issues

Bantwal, Nov 2: A meeting of rickshaw, tempo and car owners was held on Friday, November 1 at the Bantwal police station under the leadership of the sub inspector of police. 

The meeting was held to identify solutions for the ongoing traffic problems in Bantwal.

             

 
Several suggestions could be heard to solve the traffic problems.  Some expressed anguish of the traffic going in disarray during weddings and other functions.  Narrow service road and unauthorized parking was said to be the reason for traffic jams.  The police inspector informed that a new road will be constructed from under the fly over for the entry and exit of service buses to ease congestion.


Office bearers of vehicle owners and drivers associations and drivers were present at the meeting.
