Kundapur: Police arrest gamblers involved in cock fight

Kundapur, Nov 2: Kundapur Police led by their circle inspector raided the people indulged in cock fight gambling and arrested them here.  The police seized the cocks, bike and Rs 2,495 used for gambling.    

On reliable information that cock fight is going on in the forest behind Goliangadi Laxmi Bar, the police team led by circle inspector P M Diwaker raided the place on Wednesday, October 30.  The arrested are identified as Hebbadi Gundi field resident Prakash Shetty, Basrur Billadi house resident Vijaya Shetty, near Goliangadi water tank resident Heriya and Heliana Tarikatte resident Narayana.  A police case is registered in Shankernarayana police station.
