Kundapur: Suicide cases on the rise in district

Kundapur, Nov 2: A woman suffering from a uterus infection is said to have committed suicide by jumping into a lake on Thursday,

October 31.  The deceased has beenidentified as Babu Kulalthi, a resident of Jaji Bettu in Hardalli Mandalli grama.

The deceased was missing from her home at Jannadi since October 29 and her body was found in the Bagilu lake at Kandlooru

Kalu.  A case is registered at Kundapur police station.

Suicide by hanging:

Rama Devadiga, a resident of Ullooru Janatha colony of Kandavara grama has committed suicide by hanging.  Personal problems

are said to be the reason. A case is registered in Kundapur Police station.

Body  found near the railway tracks:

The body of about 50 year-old man was found near Konkan railway tracks in Parthikatte, near Hattiangadi cross here.  It is assumed

that the person may be a rag picker as a plastic bag with junk and a heap of Aluminium plates were found nearby. A case is registered in Kundapur Police station.
