Mangalore: Special children of Saanidhya celebrate Deepavali

Mangalore, Nov 4: “Festivals like Deepavali should be celebrated in schools like this. Saanidhya Residential School belongs to differently abled children from all communities,” said MLA J R Lobo after inaugurating ‘Deepavali Celebration’ in Saanidhya Residential School for differently abled children organized by Manjunath Friends Circle on Saturday November 2.brij_021113_sndya1.jpg

Vishwas Das of Shirdi Sai Baba Trust, Gopal Krishna Baliga founder of Baliga Stores, Norway Volda University students Porthan and Celi were present on this occasion.Vishwas Das and Porthan spoke on this occasion and wished the children a happy and prosperous Deepavali. 

              

                



The programme commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp and the traditional ‘diyas’ by the dignitaries present on the dais.    

The children celebrated the joy of Deepavali by burning fire crackers with the assistance of teachers and parents.
