Udupi, Mar 31: On his 75 birthday Sri Vishvesha Tirtha Swamiji of Pejavar Math in Udupi disclosed that he would construct houses for Dalits and poor who live in the backward regions of the country. The swamiji was speaking at a function organized at Poornaprajna Vidyapeeta in Bangalore.
According to the project swamiji will build houses for the poor and dalits and also spread the message of Lord Rama for the welfare of the country.
President of the Bharatiya Janata Party Rajnath Singh lauded the swamiji for his contributions to the society.
Union Minister for State for Planning M V Rajashekaran, Minister for Medical Education V S Acharya, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Govinda Karjol, Opposition leader in the legislative council H K Patil and president of the state unit of BJP Sadananda Gowda spoke on the occasion.
