Property dealer shot dead in Delhi

New Delhi, Nov 14 (IANS)" A 36-year-old property dealer was Thursday shot dead by a group of seven people inside the house of his friend here, police said. Two friends of the man were injured.

Aqeel Malik alias Mama was hit by five bullets when the armed assailants opened fire at him in Jaffrabad area of east Delhi.

Police said Malik had come to express his condolence on the death of his friend's father.

His two friends, Ismail and Inam, also were hit once each. The armed men altogether fired 25 rounds and fled the scene.

People present at the spot took the three people to a hospital where Malik was declared dead. Ismail and Inam are recuperating.
