Cool day ahead for Delhi


New Delhi, Nov 15 (IANS): A sunny but cool day lies ahead for Delhi Friday with the maximum temperature expected to be around 25 degrees Celsius, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

A veil of mist enveloped the national capital early Friday and the minimum temperature dipped three notches below season's average at 10 degrees Celsius.

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 86 percent.

"The sky will be clear throughout the day and cold winds will keep the temperature down," an IMD official said.

Thursday's maximum temperature was three notches below season's average at 25.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded two notches below season's average at 11.2 degrees Celsius.
